Getting started
What is 710 Isle?
710 Isle is a community PvP server for The Isle Evrima. Skins are earned in combat, and the server adds dino storage, an auction house, a shard economy, a Prime Elder tracker and regular events on top of the base game.
How do I join 710 Isle?
Launch The Isle on the Evrima branch, open the server browser and search for 710ISLE.COM. Then join our Discord and link your Steam account at 710isle.com to unlock storage, shards and the rest of the site.
Why can't I find 710 Isle in the server browser?
You're most likely on the wrong version of the game. In Steam, right-click The Isle, open Properties, go to the Betas tab and make sure Evrima is selected, not Legacy. Restart the game and search for 710ISLE.COM again.
Is 710 Isle free to play?
Yes. You only need to own The Isle on Steam. Everything on the server, including skins, can be earned by playing.
Do I need Discord?
You can play without it, but Discord is where you link your account, get support, hear about events and talk to the community.
Skins
How do you get skins on 710 Isle?
Skins drop from PvP. Kills have a random chance to drop a skin for you, and nesting also gives both parents a chance at one.
Can I buy skins or pick my own skin?
Not here. Skins come from PvP drops rather than a store or skin changer, which makes every one feel like a reward.
Is a skin drop guaranteed on every kill?
No, a drop is only a chance and which skin you get is random. The more you fight, the more chances you get.
Can I get a skin without the kill?
Yes, through the auction house. Players list skinned dinos for shards, so if you're after a specific look, check the listings. You can sell your own skinned dinos there too.
What happens if I already have a skin when a new one drops?
You keep your current dino as it is and the new skin is saved to your storage on a fresh dino, so nothing is lost.
Dinos and storage
What is dino storage?
Storage lets you save your current dinosaur and bring it back later exactly as it was, so you can switch species without losing your progress.
What is the Prime Elder tracker?
Once your Steam account is linked, your profile shows live progress towards Prime Elder for the dino you're playing.
What if I get stuck in the map?
Use the Unstuck button on your profile or the /unstuck command in Discord to be moved to the nearest safe spot. If that doesn't help, open a support ticket.
Are there group or species limits?
Yes. Each species has a limit and only two in-game groups may travel together. Fights between groups are always fine. The full rules are on the rules page.
Shards and trading
What are shards?
Shards are the server currency. You earn them by playing and spend them in the store or on the auction house.
How does the auction house work?
Players list stored dinos, including skinned ones, for shards. Anyone with a linked account can bid or buy.
Is there a daily reward?
Yes. Play enough on a dino each day and you can claim a Daily Roll on your profile for a chance at shards or a dino.
Staff and fairness
Can I see what admins do on the server?
Yes. Every staff action, owner included, is logged automatically and listed on the public staff log at 710isle.com/admin-actions-logs. That covers teleports, heals, growth changes, slays, bans, shards and dinos given out, and server settings, from both the website and the in-game admin panel.
Can staff hide or delete their actions?
No. Entries are written automatically when the action happens and nobody can edit or delete them. Only routine maintenance like restarts, and private things like support ticket replies, are left off the public page.
What if I think a staff member abused their powers?
Check the staff log, then open a support ticket on the site with what you saw. We'll look into it.
