How events work
Everything you need to join a fight or run your own — then try it for real in the practice demo below. Nothing in the demo touches the server.
Join in 5 steps
Find an event
Public events are on the events page and in our Discord's upcoming-events channel. Private ones need the invite link from the host.
Log in, link your Steam account, and press Sign up. Sign-ups stay open the whole event — even after it starts.
Get approved
Most events need the host or a helper to approve you. You'll see Pending until they do.
Get in the dome
Once it's live, press Teleport me in (needs 75%+ health and nobody right next to you).
Fight
The host sends you to team spots or bracket matches. Die? Pick a new dino and you're put straight back in.
Your main dino is safe
The moment you enter the dome, the dino you walked in with is saved to your storage as an event hold.
- Keep one storage slot free — no free slot, no entry.
- Inside, you're playing an event dino. It's removed when you leave or the event ends.
- After, restore your main from storage on the website like normal.
- Event kills and deaths have their own scoreboard and never touch your PvP stats.
- Playtime still counts for your Daily Roll.

Quick answers
Yes — sign-ups stay open until it ends (the host may still need to approve you).
You'll be moved out of the dome. Free up a slot on the website and try again.
No. Event dinos can't be stored, sold or moved out — that keeps events fair.
Not in the dome. Pack limits and species caps don't count event dinos.
